The name should coincide exactly with the one written on the document, and you should respect accents and the language in which it is written. Thus, if the document reads 'Miguel', you must not write 'Miquel'.
Again the first letter should be in uppercase and the rest of the word in small and, in the event of long names, the rule applies to every substantive; e.g.: 'Maria del Mar'
